Dear Teachers, Students and parents,
Education is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. It is the process by which society transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another. Teachers in Educational Institutions direct the education of students and might draw on many subjects including reading, writing, mathematics and history.
This process is called schooling. A student spends 1/3 of his life in schools. So it is the responsibility of techers to make sure that each moment of a student in school is utilized fruitfully. Dr. Abdul Kalam in his famous book ‘Indomitable Spirit’ writes that teaching is the most important profession. A teacher ignites the lives of a member of students. It is the duty of teacher to produce lifelong learners who introspect and renew themselves.
Dear Students, as CBSE has introduced Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation, we have adopted strategies for implementing it. Learning is a joyful experience and enables the learner to find the meaning and significance of life. The objectives of Indian Education as reflected National curriculum Frame work 2005 are connecting knowledge to outside schools, ensuring that learning shifts away from rote methods by adopting child centered and constructivist methods ,enriching the curriculum so that it goes beyond textbooks ,making examination more flexible etc.. Now CBSE Board has taken concrete steps for achieving these objectives. I request all students and parents to understand the meaning of these changes and try to achieve the real objectives. Equal importance is given to Co Scholastic skills in the present curriculum. So dear students nurture your potentialities in your own specific areas of interest and develop as integrated personalities. Utilize the opportunities you get for developing yourselves .Work hard and achieve high
May God bless you.
